Keeping your doctor is one of the most important factors when choosing your Medicare Advantage plan.
Effective in 2019, facilities that are part of the Overlake Medical Center and EvergreenHealth Eastside Health Alliance are accepting a limited number of Medicare Advantage plans, including Premera Blue Cross. If you’re currently a Premera or Soundpath Health customer with a Medicare Advantage plan you will have access to both Eastside facilities.
Premera recently purchased Soundpath Health’s Medicare contract. That means Soundpath Health Medicare Advantage customers don’t need to do anything to remain on their current Medicare Advantage plans and see their current doctors at Overlake and EvergreenHealth.
We want Medicare subscribers on the Eastside and beyond to have the network options they prefer. “If you’re a Soundpath customer and you’re happy with your plan, the good news is your 2019 Premera plan will look very similar to your current plan. You can continue to see your doctors at locations like EvergreenHealth and Overlake – as well as the numerous other doctors and hospitals in our broad Medicare Advantage network,” said Tracy Bos, Director and General Manager of Senior Markets for Premera Blue Cross.
All Premera Medicare Advantage customers will have access to other facilities throughout the state, including:
- MultiCare
- University of Washington
- Franciscan
- Physicians of Southwest Washington
- And many more
With 16,000 providers in the Medicare Advantage network, Premera and Soundpath members can find a doctor in their network, close to home.
