For groups who
offer one of our HSA-qualified plans with a ConnectYourCare health savings account. ConnectYourCare is an
independent company that provides consumer-directed healthcare account solutions on behalf
of Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield
of Alaska.
Earlier this year, we shared with you some important upcoming dates for ConnectYourCare(CYC) health savings
accounts (HSAs).
Reminder:
As of March 1, all previous CYC accounts were considered individual accounts (not part of the employer group plan) and subject to monthly service fees. Any members who have not already transferred/closed their UMB account are now individual account holders
and subject to a monthly $3.95 service fee.
As a reminder, the last date members can consolidate their accounts and have the transfer fee or monthly service fees waived is June 30,
2021.
