Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska has the most extensive contracted network in Alaska.
We believe in working closely with doctors and hospitals to deliver for the customer together. That’s why we're committed to building and maintaining a sustainable provider network throughout the state.
Between January and March 2019, Premera signed new contracts with 45 providers throughout Alaska. This brings the statewide total count of physicians and providers in our network to 4,261.
Remind your clients
Premera members get the most value from their medical benefits when they visit providers who have a contract with Premera.
Members can find in-network providers and the costs for some services with the Find a Doctor tool on premera.com. Premera members get the most accurate information with Find a Doctor when they sign in to their secure member account on premera.com before using the tool.
