How long have you worked at Premera? Eight years.
Please describe your role at Premera: I am responsible for the administration and back end work that goes into renewing and implementing new large group employers. I handle day-to-day group level questions that require navigation within our company and assist with getting the appropriate area’s involved.
What drew you to the healthcare industry? My passion for wanting to help people! I always wanted to be a part of the ever-growing healthcare industry. When people speak about healthcare and how
confusing it can be, I wanted to be a part of that change.
What is your favorite part of working at Premera? That our philosophy is
not only spoken but lived by here in the workplace.
How do you passionately advocate for our customers? I act as a conductor. I
work with internal departments to ensure our customers needs are being
met.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? To every problem, there is always a solution.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? I like to actively volunteer in my community, which includes events like the Diabetes Walk, Heart Walk, and United Way. Aside from volunteering, I have two kids that I enjoy spending time with. We often like to do crafts, go swimming, bowling, anything that can keep us having fun!
