We have created a digital front door for all our
member’s virtual care need with Premera MyCare.
What is Premera MyCare?
- Premera MyCare is an app designed to be a
member's personalized portal to all their virtual care options.
- Using their Premera account to login, a member's
experience is customized to only show the services available to them through
their plan.
- Members were first be informed of the app
through Open Enrollment materials and ID Card mailers due to the mass card
reissue occurring in December 2021.
Who is Premera MyCare available to?
The Premera MyCare app is available to all group
business and funding types.
What is the value of Premera MyCare?
Premera MyCare is meant to enhance the member
experience by directly connecting members to virtual providers resources
available to them. Members will only see vendors which are available to them,
in the following manner:
- If they have previously downloaded the provider app, it
automatically opens on the user's device.
- If they haven't previously downloaded the provider app,
MyCare will direct them to the Apple App Store or Google Play to download
it.
- If an app is not available, users will be directed to
the web page to register for services.
What resources do I have to talk to my clients?
A full suite of resources will be available in January for
you to use when talking with your clients about Premera MyCare.
