At Premera, we’re committed to controlling rising medical costs all while making healthcare work better for your group clients. Currently, Premera uses strategies to identify when there may be other parties liable for claims. This helps maintain costs for your group clients and increase post payment recoveries.
What’s happening
Beginning January 1, 2022, we’re further improving how we recover claims paid related to subrogation by working with The Rawlings Company (Rawlings). Premera already works with Rawlings for coordination of benefits services. With this new program, members have the option to respond to the incident questionnaire online, which is not an option currently.
