Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska mailed two letters during the last week of November to all our Medicare Supplement members.
Rate letters: These letters include information about rate changes that start January 1, 2020.
- Our Medicare Supplement rates went up on average 4.3% for 2020.
- There is no rate increase for high deductible plans F, G, or J.
- Rates increased 4.5% for 2010 Standard F and 5.8% for all other plans.
Annual notice letters: These letters include 2020 cost shares from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The cost shares take effect on January 1, 2020.
