The Alaska Division of Insurance (DOI) approved the 2022 Alaska Medicare Supplement rates. The new rates will take effective on April 1, 2022.
All Premera Medicare Supplement members with a Premera plan will receive rate change notice letters with rate details this month. The member letters will be available to view on our
Alaska Medicare Supplement landing page by the end of February. We announced 2022
cost shares in December.

Online Enrollment Tool for Medicare Supplement
- For enrollments effective April 1, 2022, and beyond, you’ll use the new online Connecture DRX tool. This is the same platform we used for Medicare Advantage applications during the 2021 annual enrollment period (AEP).
- If you’ve used our existing enrollment tool in the last 18 months, you’re already loaded in the new DRX tool. If you sell both MA and medicare supplement you’ll now see both options.
- If you haven’t used the DRX tool for Medicare Advantage but have sold with the online tool, your log-in information is below. If you haven’t recently sold either product online and want to use the new tool, please reach out to medicaresupport@premera.com.
