Icons

Icons should be used to help the user absorb and process information more efficiently. They should draw the user's attention to the content, not distract from it. (Since we aren't currently using a lot of icons, some of these examples are from other websites, but our icons could be used in a similar manner.)

• Spice up feature lists to make them more engaging
• Draw attention to specific content items
• List services and increase readability
• Accent headers to give titles a creative touch
• Engage users on pages with extra long content
• Offset headings and sections
• Size doesn't matter! Even small icons can be effective
• Vary size and placement
• Use a consistent style
