General News For employers with Teladoc telemedicine services
Published June 17, 2019
The Premera mobile app is now better than ever. With recent app updates, members have access to new features that make it easier to use Teladoc* and share their Premera ID card.
One-stop access to Teladoc
Your employees with Teladoc benefits can now use the Premera mobile app to access Teladoc video and phone consultations. Members can get Teladoc care in the same app where they see their Premera claims, deductibles, and plan information. They can schedule a call or video consultation with a doctor without having to download a separate app or visit another website.
To get started, members can access Teladoc by signing in to the Premera app on either iOS or Android. Members who have previously registered for Teladoc will be automatically signed in without having to enter a separate user name or password. Members who are new Teladoc users will be able to quickly register because many fields will be pre-filled.
To get to Teladoc in the Premera app:
- On Android, go to the Find Care tab and select Teladoc.
- On iOS, scroll down on the dashboard screen to locate and tap Teladoc.
Teladoc offers virtual care at any time. It is ideal for treating non-emergency conditions, such as allergies, cold and flu, and sinus infections.
