For schools with a Premera Education Program health plan
As you know, the way school district employees will select health benefits for 2020 is changing. We want to help you help your employees make the transition to the School Employees Benefit Board (SEBB) Program as easy as possible. To get started, follow these two easy steps.
Step 1: Remind your employees that their health plan continues through December 31, 2019
Unlike previous years, when health plans for school districts would change November 1, if you keep your current Premera Education Program health plan, everything remains the same – both in benefits and rates – through the end of 2019.

Copy-and-share message for your employees
If you have a Premera Blue Cross health plan, your current benefits and rates continue through December 31, 2019.
Unlike previous years when our plan year would begin November 1, you can keep the health plan you know and trust through the end of this year.
From October 1 through November 15, 2019, school employees will have an opportunity to sign up for new health care benefits from the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Program. Coverage begins January 1, 2020.
