Konnected helps individuals in the Puget Sound area learn about
nonprofit organizations and find out how they can get involved. Six nonprofit
partners that Premera supports through recent Premera Social Impact grants and
sponsorships participated in the event:
- Youth Eastside Services
- Kent Youth Family Services
- Downtown Emergency Service Center
- Melodic Caring Project
- Latino Community Fund
- The Service Board
“This event brings us together to learn and find out how we can support each other,” said Paul Hollie, who leads Premera Social Impact. "It is great that we have the opportunity to showcase some of our nonprofit partners.”
Konnected is organized by KING 5. Premera’s sponsorship of Konnected is part of a yearlong media partnership between Premera and KING 5 Television. The partnership involves Premera and KING 5 working collaboratively on
healthcare news stories and content on New Day Northwest, Evening Magazine, and KING 5's social media sites.
