Currently the Behavioral Health Navigator program offered by Premera includes self-referral tools through Quartet, a vendor, for members to find a provider. We are ending our relationship with Quartet effective December 31, 2022.
Beginning January 1, 2023, all fully insured groups in Washington, including our OptiFlex groups, there will be continued access to the Behavioral Health Navigator program and this program will be supported by a dedicated internal Premera team.
Behavioral Health Navigator will offer members a curated list of providers that meet their specific needs. Unlike Quartet, Premera’s internal team will be able to support nationwide navigation services including those for child and adolescent members.

Premera understands the importance of providing access to high-quality care for our members. With the need for behavioral health care reaching crisis levels, it can be difficult for people to find a provider with availability that matches their specific needs. Our members will continue to receive support finding behavioral health providers that match their needs.
As part of our mission to make healthcare work better, our job is to ensure our members have access to affordable, quality healthcare. This means we must continually evaluate the services we provide and adjust accordingly if they do not live up to our high standards and mission.
