If you need to enroll clients in a Premera Blue Cross Medicare Supplement plan before the end of this year, continue to request supplies through our 2019 enrollment kit order form. The 2019 kit will enable you to enroll your clients in all our active plans.
If you already requested a 2020 enrollment kit for Medicare Supplement, your order will remain on hold until we can include information about our new Medicare Supplement Plan High Deductible G.
What’s ahead for Premera Medicare Supplement
- Once we have final rate approval, we will launch a new Medicare Supplement Plan High Deductible G starting January 1, 2020.
- We are closing Medicare Supplement Plan F and Plan High Deductible F to new sales starting January 1, 2020. Your clients who already have Premera Medicare Supplement Plan F or Plan High Deductible F will be allowed to keep these plans on or after January 1, 2020.
- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) releases cost shares every year. CMS does not announce in advance when the costs shares will be release. In recent years, thy have been released in November.
