    It’s estimated that 1 in 2 adults over the age of 65 have some degree of hearing loss. Living with hearing loss can have a negative effect on a person’s physical and emotional wellbeing. That’s why our Medicare Advantage plans have hearing benefits and discounts to help your clients save money.

    These Medicare Advantage plans:

    • Classic (HMO)
    • Core Plus (HMO)
    • Total Health (HMO)
    • Peak + Rx (HMO)
    • Sound + Rx (HMO)
    • Alpine (HMO) and
    • Charter + Rx (HMO)

    Have the following benefits:

    • 1 routine hearing exam each calendar year
    • $1,000 allowance per ear/per year for hearing aids when purchased through a Hearing Care Solutions network provider.
    • 60-day trial period
    • 1 year of routine follow-up servicing at no charge with original provider
    • 2-year supply of batteries with purchase (up to 128 cells per ear)

    Note: Ear molds aren’t covered by Hearing Care Solutions. Make sure your clients know that if they elect to have one made there is a $60.00 charge per standard year mold for this.

    Our Classic Plus (HMO) plan includes one routine hearing exam each calendar year.

    These plans don’t have a hearing benefit but members on these plans can take advantage of discounts for hearing aids.
