It’s important that your clients stay safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. So, we encourage you to remind your clients that telehealth services are covered for Premera Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement members.
Recently, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that they will temporarily expand coverage of telehealth services for all Medicare recipients during this crisis. This means that telehealth services for our Medicare Supplement plans are now covered too.
Currently, we’re waiving all cost shares for telehealth services from providers who offer these services to our Medicare members.
Here’s a partial list of providers that offer these services:
- UW Medicine
- CHI Franciscan
- MultiCare
- Rockwood Clinic
- Virginia Mason Medical Center
- Skagit Regional Health
- Family Care Network
- Providence Health and Service
- Swedish Health System
- The Everett Clinic
- The Polyclinic
Make sure you tell your clients to contact their provider’s office to find out if they offer this service.
