For businesses with 1–50 employees
We made changes to our 2019 small group metallic health plans to help make Premera Blue Cross the best choice for your clients. Here’s a reminder of what’s new this year and the resources available for you to use when talking with your new and renewing small group clients.
Peak Care health plans
For the first time this year, we offer three Peak health plans for Pierce County-based employers.
Peak Care is the result of a first-of-its-kind alliance between Premera and MultiCare, the South Sound’s most comprehensive integrated health system.
Peak Care plans:
- Provide a simple and easy customer experience that ensures members receive integrated care.
- Offer benefits that help attract and retain employees.
Check out the Peak Care producer toolkit for videos, brochures, and resources to help you talk to your clients about Peak Care plans.
More new 2019 health plan options
To help your clients find the right Premera plan that meets their needs, we now offer:
- A new Balance HSA Qualified 3000 Silver + Family Dental plan – Find out more in the 2019 complete guide to health benefit plans
- Up to three plan options for groups with 10 to 50 enrolled employees – Find out more in the 2019 Dual and Triple Choice program charts
2019 formulary changes
To help keep premiums and benefits stable for our members, we updated our 2019 drug list for small group metallic plans.
The Rx Search tool makes it easy to review the 2019 drug list for small group plans. Encourage your clients and their employees to review the 2019 drug list for their plan and determine the status of their prescription drugs.
