An Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) can be done via telehealth. If your Medicare Advantage patients don’t want in-person AWVs, here are three things you can share to encourage participation:
- Telehealth means they can stay home and safe from possible COVID-19 exposure while getting the same attention and care from their primary care doctor.
- It’s important to have a no-cost AWV to develop or update a personalized prevention plan to help prevent disease and disability.
- Staff are happy to explain how the practice’s telehealth offering works.
