On September 1, Premera Medicare Advantage transitioned to Symphony, the new online tool for prior authorizations and referral requests. If you haven’t used the new tool, we encourage you to give it a try. Once you become familiar with it, we’re confident you’ll notice an improvement entering your requests.
What you need to know
- There’s no change to how you sign in. You can enter through OneHealthPort or through the Medicare Advantage non-secure web page.
- Review the training materials or one of the quick videos before you enter your request. All resources are available on the secure prior authorization/referral home page.
- You still have access to Jiva, but it’s limited to view only. You can check the status on historical requests but can no longer enter new requests through Jiva.
- Any uncompleted requests entered in Jiva will now need to be re-entered into Symphony.

For the best experience, use either Chrome version 55 or higher or Microsoft Edge version 79 or higher.
