When entering your referrals, the start and end date you enter should match the span of time you want your patient to see a specialist (three months, six months, one year). For example, if the request is for three months and you recommend your patient
should start seeing a specialist March 5, 2022, the start date is 3/5/2022 and the end date is 6/5/2022.
Don’t forget to enter the number of requested visits during that date span.
