All payment policies are reviewed and updated on an annual basis with a subset being reviewed monthly. Changes to these policies may translate into updates to claim editing and affect claims payments.
Changes may include:
- Additions, deletions, and clarifications
- New coding guideline
- New or deleted procedure codes, both CPT and HCPCS
- New or deleted ICD-10 CM or PCS codes
- Other industry coding in general

page and some changes are highlighted with a Provider News article in the Reminders and Update section.
