LifeWise Health Plan of Washington member ID cards for Exchange customers will be digital effective January 1, 2019. The digital ID cards will replace the current 2018 printed ID cards.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Members will access their digital ID card through our mobile phone app.
- At appointments, members will likely hand you their phones to show an ID card image through the app.
- The digital ID cards include plan information that’s effective January 1, 2019; members should present a printed ID card through December 2018.
- Members can request a printed LifeWise ID card for their 2019 health plan.
- If you need a copy of the ID card for your records, members can email an image of their ID card through the app. Starting in early 2019, members can also directly fax you a copy of their ID card from their mobile device.
