Premera Blue Cross and the Seattle Kraken want you to stay ahead of the game and get vaccinated to protect yourself and your team.

As the official health plan of the Seattle Kraken hockey team, Premera is joining together with the community to celebrate the inaugural season of Seattle’s first NHL team. To ensure the game going experience is safe for everyone, we are proud to partner with Walgreens and the Kraken to host a vaccine clinic at their jersey launch event.

The free clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, and Thursday, September 16, at the new Kraken Community Iceplex located at 10601 5th Ave NE Seattle, WA 98125. It will offer Pfizer's vaccine, which is FDA approved for people ages 12 and up. Appointments are not required. Getting a vaccination this week means that you would be ready for game day on October 23rd. All guests attending games and events at Climate Pledge Arena will have to provide proof of vaccination, starting with their inaugural event on October 22nd.

Walgreens will provide pharmacy operations staffing with additional volunteer support provided by Premera and the Kraken Community Iceplex.

“It’s important to us to help get the broader community vaccinated,” said Premera Chief Clinical Officer Chad Murphy. “Supporting this clinic expands on Premera’s long-standing efforts to ensure equitable COVID-19 vaccine access, specifically for communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.”

Premera has hosted clinics in Mountlake Terrace, Pasco, Wenatchee, and Tukwila, and contributed $150,000 to the All in WA Vaccine Equity Initiative.

Parking: Designated Iceplex parking lot at Northgate Station is at 5th Ave NE & 106th St located East of the KCI.

COVID Protocols: All guests are required to wear a mask.
